Important Retrofit Information

The upgraded Android display supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Hold the MENU button to access the Android system and connect to BM_ECB45092. Holding MENU again returns to the original BMW iDrive system.

The ambient lighting has been coded into iDrive and colours can be changed through Vehicle Settings → Interior Lighting. Additional two-tone colour combinations and lighting effects can also be controlled through the compatible app.

The paddle shifters are retrofitted using OEM components, with the sports gearbox functionality coded so the system operates correctly.

The exhaust has a dual-exit setup with a backbox delete, giving the car a sportier exhaust note while retaining the standard engine setup.

A very attractive example for someone wanting the M140i-style look without the M140i running costs.
